Vision Statement Document

Provide a Framework that enables Team Foundation Server applications to deal with workitems in a type-safe manner.

This toolset will be composed of six major components and several minor, with the four being:

1. A mapper between WorkItems from the WorkItem Store and Objects in the Object Model.
2. Pre-made Object Model for CodePlex.
3. Pre-made Object Model for the default TFS Agile WorkItem Types.
4. Reverse engineering application that generates the object model from the WorkItem Types Definition.
5. Forward engineering application that generates the WorkItem Types XML Files from a give object model.
6. Plugins to help manage the workitem to object tasks.

The development of this components is being done as a side-project and as such doesn´t have a strict schedule.

Features may be added later as the iterations go by. If such happen, this document is likely to be updated.
